Biking

“Two Wheels Are Better Than None” – that’s my motto. I mean the kind you have to peddle.  Also, I like a lot of different bikes, because it’s more of a challenge to ride different ones other than than the same one all the time.

Sometimes I get motivated to fix up an old bike and ride it, just to see what the appeal was to that bike.  I will post pictures of some of these when I get the pics.

The picture below is of bike I used to have but I rode it until the tires were bald, and gave it way to a neighbor, who still rides it; I think that he replaced the tires!

This bike was a Mongoose mountain bike, 26 inch wheels, red paint job, aluminum frame.  I bought in 2000 and rode it every day during lunch at work.  It was a fantastic learning experience about the joys of biking as a means of getting away from it all, if only for just a few minutes.
